The young all over the world are facing today the problem of maladjustment in the society. This generation, caught as it is amidst its self created problems has not been given a proper leadership but Mahatma Gandhi may serve them with a model capable of giving moral and spiritual strength to change their environment in which they can fulfill their aspirations and realise their dreams.

He is the latest embodiment of the spirit of Buddha and Christ in the 20th century civilization; therefore there can be nothing national or regional about Gandhiji and his thoughts.

Human society particularly that of a democratic form always needs a symbol in the noblest sense of him, Gandhiji’s personality is a symbol of trurthfulness, love, courage and sacrifice for the suffering humanity.
