height of pole is 12m and angle made by rope with ground is 300

.

(a) which concept is used in the above conversation?

(i) Trigonometric ratio (ii) similar triangle

(iii) Coordinate geometry (iv) None of the above

(b) What is the distance covered by fireman to reach the top of pole?

(i) 24m (ii) 20m (iii) 15m (iv) 25m

(c ) What is the horizontal distance between fireman and building?

(i) 12m (ii) 12√3 (iii) 15m (iv) 15√3m

(d) If the fireman is standing just touching the building, then the angle between

building and fireman is

(i) 60 (ii) 180 (iii) 45 (iv) can’t be known

(e ) If we reduce the height of building and horizontal distance of fireman in the same

ratio , then the angle made by fireman and building is

(i) same (ii) half (iii) double (iv) None of these .
