Answer:

Total money to be distributed = ₹240

Narayan and Narendra got the money in the ratio of 7 : 9

Let the factor be x,

Than,

7x + 9x =240

=> 16x =240

=> x =240/16

=> x = 15

Therefore Narendra got 9x = 9× 15 = ₹135

& Narayan got 7x= 7×15 = ₹105

Now ,

After giving Narendra ₹9 from Narayan's share the money that they have now is

Narendra = 135+9 = 144

Narayan = 105 -9 = 96

New ratio = 96/144

=8/12

=> 8:12

=> 2:3

Therefore the required ratio is 2:3(ans).

Step-by-step explanation:

Total Money to be distributed = 240 rs

Ratio of which Narayan and Narendra Got = 7:9

Let the no. be x

7x + 9x = 240

16x = 240

x = 240/16

x = 15

Therefore,

Narayan got = 9×15 = 135

Narendra got = 7×15 = 105

Now,

Narendra = 135+9 = 144

Narayan = 105-9 = 96

New Ratio = 96/144

= 8/12

= 8:12

= 2:3

ANSWER :- 2:3 will be the ratio of the amount of money left with Narayan to the amount of money with Narendra now.
