\huge{\text{\underline{Correct\:Question:-}}}

Mahesh got 50% marks in Hindi, 75% in English and got 90 marks in maths. The maximum marks in each of the subjects were 100, 140 and 160 respectively. Find his aggregate percentage.

\huge{\text{\underline{Solution:-}}}

Given:-

Marks in Hindi = 50% of 100 =  50

Marks in English = 75% of 140  = 105

Marks in Maths = 90% of 100 = 90

Marks in 3 subjects:-

= 50 + 105 + 90

\large{\boxed{\text{= 245}}}

Maximum marks:-

= 100 + 140 + 160

\large{\boxed{\text{= 400}}}

Aggregate %

= 245 / 400 × 100 = 61.25 %

\large{\boxed{\text{= 61.25 percent}}}

Therefore, the aggregate percentage is 61.25 %

\huge{\star}{\underline{\boxed{\red{\sf{Answer :}}}}}{\star}

Mahesh's Marks

Hindi = 50 %

English = 75 %

Maths = 90 %

================================

Maximum Marks :-

Hindi = 100

English = 140

Maths = 160

============================

Now Mahesh's marks

Hindi = 50% of 100 => 50

English = 75% of 140 => 105

Maths = 90% of 100 => 144

\rule{200}{6}

Total marks = 50 + 105 + 144

\huge{\underline{\boxed{Total \: marks \: = \: 299}}}

====================

Maximum Marks = 100 + 140 + 160

\huge{\underline{\boxed{Max. \: marks \: = \: 400}}}

________________

Aggregate %age

Marks obtained/Total marks

→ %age = 299 (100) /400

\huge{\boxed{\boxed{\sf{ \% age \: = \: 74.75 \: \%}}}}
