Question:-

  • Mahesh purchased a laptop for Rs 24,000 and spent Rs 1000 on repairing it. If he sold it for Rs 28,000, calculate hisprofit or loss percent.

Given:-

  • Cost of laptop is 24,000 ₹
  • Money spent on repair = 1000 ₹
  • S.P of laptop = 28,000 ₹ (Profit)

ToFind:-

  • Calculate his profit or loss percent

Solution:-

Gain = SP-(Cost of laptop + Mony spent on repair)

→ 28000 - (24000 + 1000)

→ 28000 - 25000

Now, finding gain percent
