Mahesh said to Suresh 'I am ok" (Change into Indirect Speech).
Mahesh told Suresh that he is ok.
In form of Direct Speech:
- The actual words of the speaker are put within inverted commas (" ")
- A comma(,)is used before these words, seperating them from the first part of the sentence.
- The qouted words begin with a Capital letter.
In form of Indirect Speech.
- Here, the qouted words are not in inverted commas, but are introduced by conjunction 'that.'
- There is no comma after Reporting Verb 'said.'
- The tense of the Reporting Verb is never changed.
