Heya !!
Here is ur answer
=========================
Representing the Given data :-
[1] Mahesh --------( profit 8%)----------David
[2] David-------(loss 5%)---------Mukesh
Mukesh paid SP = 51700
FROM SECOND [2] CASE
loss = 5%
SP = 51700
Substituting the values
In second case , the CP is SP of 1st case , it mean David buyed the article at 54421
and sold it at 51700
so it mean David buyed the article from mahesh at 54421
so , it is the SP of (1) case
FROM FIRST CASE
SP = 54421
Profit% = 8 %
sp = (1 + profit /100) × cp
____________
Mahesh buyed the article at 50388 and sold it to David at 54421 , Next David sold it to Mukesh at 51700
So, Mahesh buyed the article at 50388 rupees
___________
