Mahim nature Park which is also known as Maharashtra National Park is a heavenly place for the go greeners of the area. Initially there was a garbage dump located in the place of Mahim National Park.

Later this dump is converted into a lushfull green forest area with the help of a government organisation and some private NGOs. World Wildlife Fund is the private NGO which is responsible for conversion of the Mahim National Park. Now Mahim National Park has 14000 trees with over more than 300 varieties of trees. It also has hundred small varieties of migratory birds and insects which are located in that place.
