Main different between pata painting and mandala painting?

Patta painting is done on Indian cloth and Mandala is meant for rituals. Thebasic feature of Patta painting shows a main deity drawn in the middle which is surrounded by other deities whereas; in Mandala there is usually a swastika sign in the middle which is surrounded by many deities.
