Trees found in Mangroves are salt-tolerant and adapted to the severe coastal climate and conditions.
Such trees known as halophytes, have an advanced root system for salt filteration. They are also able to withstand waves and the force exerted by strong water currents.
Their system is designed for survival even with low oxygen intake and also to survive in extreme wet conditions.
