1)The constitution of 1791 vested the power to make the laws in the national assembly which was indirectly elected.


2)citizen voted for a group of elector,who in turn to chose assembly.


3)only men above 25 years age who paid taxes equal to at least 3 days of labourer wage were given to the status if active citizen.


4)they were entitled to vote.


5)the remaining men and women classes as passive citizen.
