Following are the features of federalism
.two or more levels of government
. people are under these govt but each govt has its own power
. powers of govt is guaranteed by the constitution
. no govt can change the fundamental laws of constitution seperately without sanction of both the govt
. there is a mutual understanding between the different levels of govt even they have their own plans

Features of Federalism are:-

• There are two or more levels of government.

• Different levels of government govern the. same citizens but each level has its own. jurisdiction.

• The existence and authority of each level of government is constitutionally guaranteed.

• The fundamental provisions of the constitution cannot be unilaterally changed by one level of government.

• Courts have the power to interpret the constitution and the powers of different levels of government.

• Source of revenue for each level of government are clearly specified to ensure it's financial autonomy.
