The main objectives of green revolution are as follows
1. 
To use Fertilizers, better methods of irrigation & introduced High Yielding variety (HYV) of seeds
2. To improve food production 
3. To increase the food production in India in order, to reduce the scarcity of food production
4. To increase the high income growth for farmers
5. To decrease malnutrition among the poor people
