- Total cost price of yam = 200 × 20 = Rs. 4000
- Now the transportation charges is Rs. 200
- Selling price of the Yam = Rs. 25 per kg
Total selling price of the Yam = 200 × 25 = Rs. 5000
- Profit = Selling Price - Cost price - Transportation charges
Profit = 5000 - 200 - 4000 = Rs. 800
- Profit Majid earned is Rs. 800
