Dhyan chand was a hockey player of his time. He was born in India in 1905 and died in 1979.
He has won three olympic gold medals. Hitler offered him the highest post of german army but he refused to the offer.
He has been awarded with one of the highest civilian award namely padma bhushan. He was a great player.
