DNA

It stands for Deoxy Ribonucliec Acid.
It has deoxyribose sugar.
OH group is absent.
It is found as genetic material in major organisms.
It is not reactive
It mutates slowly.

RNA

It stands for Ribonucleic acid.
It has Ribose sugar.
OH group is present at 2 position.
It is found as genetic material in retroviruses like TMV.
It is reactive.
It mutates at a faster rate.

Kuldeepnehra: 4th Nitrogenous base in RNA is Uracil in place of Thiamine
Kuldeepnehra: DNA is double stranded whereas RNA is single stranded.
Kuldeepnehra: DNA is self duplicating whereas RNA is not !
Kuldeepnehra: Above three differences not in this so called brainliest answer !
AjayMeel1: OK sir thanks for correcting my answer
Kuldeepnehra: Your answer is correct as far as difference because of nitrogenous bases is concerned. I just elaborated the other two more differences. Please try to understand,I didn't correct your answer, instead, elaborated .Thanks
Anonymous: hello sir my question is DNA is stable yet organisms having dna as genetuc material have shorter life span
Anonymous: why
