Major difference between Electric potential and Potential Difference??

The work per unit of charge required to move a charge from infinity to a specified point, measured in joules per coulomb or volts. The staticelectric field is the negative of the gradient of the electric potential.

Whereas electric potential differenece is the work done in moving a unit postive charge from one point to another.(its theoritically the difference in the potential energy of two point per unit charge.

it is denoted by unit of volt and joules per coulomb attraction and repulsion but in Electric potential difference between two points in an Electric field is defined as the amount of work done in moving unit positive charge from one point to another point against the electric force.
