During the beginning of the 20 th century , about 85% of the Russian Population was agriculturist.

Russian was the major exporters of grains. most of the industries were run by the private industrialist. there were no limit of working hours and sometime the workers didn't get even the minimum wages. This was leading to widespread of corruption and explotations.

Russia ruled by Tsar was a autocracy. The Tsar especially Tsar Nicholas ll was self willed, oppersive and corrupt ruler. due to his ignorance of the public welfare, the working conditions of the workers and peasant were both divided. peasants frequently refused to pay rent and even murdered landlords.
