Plasma is responsible for carrying out deoxygenated things because it lives in a neutral state of matter.

As a result, the carbon dioxide is more and oxygen is less.

It is a well-known fact that blood is responsible for transportation so plasma can able to carry out the majority of carbon dioxide.

Majority of carbon dioxide is transported by plasma as compared to oxygen because of the dissolution property of carbon dioxide. Almost 5-7% carbon dioxide dissolves in plasma thus making it possible for plasma to carry carbon dioxide easily.

EXPLANATION:

Carbon dioxide can also easily bins to plasma proteins or can enter red blood cells and bind to haemoglobin thereby transporting almost 105 carbon dioxide.

Oxygen on the other hand cannot be carried by plasma because majority of oxygen is bound to the compound called haemoglobin and is dissolved in blood.
