MAKA is the abbreviation of the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Trophy. The trophy was first granted in 1956, the MAKA Trophy is conferred yearly to the multiversity with excellent all-around achievement. In the award, the Victor University gets a certificate, a model of the memorial and Rs 10 lakh as a cash prize; to be used for games activities.  A University of Amritsar called Guru Nanak Dev University re-ceived the MAKA Trophy for the year 2017-18.
