Answer:

First Generation Computers( 1940- 1956)

First-generation computers were used for computation, storehouse, and control purposes. They were too big and large that they demanded a full room and consume spoilage of electricity.

Second Generation Computers( 1956- 1963)

Alternate-generation computers used the technology of transistors rather than big vacuum tubes. Another point was the core storehouse. A transistor may be a device composed of semiconductor material that amplifies a sign or opens or closes a circuit.

Third Generation Computers( 1964- 1971)

During the third generation, technology imaged a shift from huge transistors to integrated circuits, also appertained to as IC. Then a variety of transistors were placed on silicon chips, called semiconductors. The most point of this period’s computer was the speed and trustability. IC was made from silicon and is also called silicon chips.

Fourth Generation Computers( 1971- Present)

Technologies like multiprocessing, multiprogramming, time-sharing, operating speed, and virtual memory made it a more stoner-friendly and customary device. The conception of private computers and computer networks came into being within the fourth generation.

Fifth Generation Computers (present and beyond)

The speed is loftiest, size is the lowest and area of use has remarkably increased within the fifth generation computers. Though not a hundred per cent AI has been achieved to date but keeping in sight the present developments, it's frequently said that this dream also will come to a reality veritably soon.
