Answer :
Comparative study of agricultural farms in developed & developing countries
- In developed countries, the size of the farms is huge as compared to the farms in developing countries.
- In the developed countries farmers make sure that the soil and water resources meet the requirement of the crop whereas in developing countries due to lack of resources farmers grow high yielding crop varieties (HYVs)
- The farmers in the developed countries take technical assistance and send soil samples to the lab to determine whether the soil is rich in nutrients or not. But the farmers in the developing countries take advice from their friends, elders, and the government's agricultural authorities.
- The farmers in the developed countries make use of tractors, sows, harvesters, and all other modern agricultural equipment. Whereas in developing countries the farmer takes tractors for rent, and many still rely on the traditional methods (cattle to plow the land)
- In the developed countries the house of the owner is on the farm whereas in developing countries the farmers have to travel to their farm as they live in the villages.
