Indian struggle for freedom against British Imperialism :-

1) The Indian national movement for freedom was the result of colonialism, which brought a sense of brotherhood among the citizens of our country and also brought people together from different sections of society to fight against the colonial atrocities.
2) The main reason behind the struggle was the oppressive British policies and exploitation of the country to meet the colonial needs.
3) Mass movements like Civil Disobedience Movement, Non- Cooperation Movement, Khilafat Movement etc united the people of all communities and religions together in the struggle for freedom.
4) Prominent leaders of Indian freedom struggle were Mahatma Gandhi, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, Lala Lajpat Rai, Subhash Chandra Bose etc.
5) India gained independence on 15th August 1947 and became a sovereign independent country.

Vietnamese Freedom Struggle :-

1) Vietnam was the most important states in Indo-China, which was developed purely of colonial context. The freedom struggle of Vietnamese state brought different communities together which became a combined fight against the colonial domination.
2) The political and economic impact of French colonialists determined the Vietnamese freedom struggle.
3) Through many movements, struggle by political leaders and political parties, and also interference by Japan, USA etc, the Republic of Vietnam was formed.
4) Some of the prominent freedom fighters of Vietnamese freedom struggle were Phan Boi Chau, Ho Chi Minh etc.
5) Vietnam gained independence in 1945, much before India but it took another three decades to fight to become a Republic Country.
