Its altitude varies from 3700 m to 4500 m which means its quite high. And its average width is about 50km. The Pir Panjal range is the most longest and important range among all.

Shivaliks Himalaya:- Shivalik Himalaya are the outermost outer most range of the Himalaya. This region is mainly contains un required sediments bought down by the rivers from the main Himalayan Regions.

Its altitude ranges from 900m to 1100 m its large but not compared to the Himachal Himalayas.

The width of this range is on an average 10- 15 km. As the river flows down through it so its soil is very fertile and its alluvial soil and gravel by which it is covered.
