Here we discuss about Straddling bus. This is a new theory which is applied in China at august, 2016. This concept based to remove the traffic jam in big cities where traffic jam is one of the biggest problem. This is one kind of bus where vehicles will pass through under it. It can carry 1200-1400 peoples at a time. The biggest advantage is that the bus will save lots of road space. Construction cost & time is much less than metro rail. The straddling bus combines the advantages of BRT also. It can reach up to 60 km per hour. It means if we think our total length is 30 km than it will reach opposite last station nearly 40-45 minutes. It can reduce up to 25-30% traffic jams on main routes. Our Dhaka city is one of the most dense city in the world & here’s one of big problem is traffic jam. Dhaka is a mega city, it becomes denser day by day & our transportation system is very poor & not enough. This is appropriate for our Dhaka city
