Advantages of Voting Machines :

1. Advanced version of electronic voting machines there are no external communication ways which make difficult for hackers to hack machine and tamper count numbers.

2. Machines having touch screen are advantageous for physically challenged people. In paper ballot these physically challenged people weren't able to cast votes.

However, with new EVM even handicapped people can right to vote in private.

3. Electronic voting machines are cost effective and economical.

Disadvantages of Voting Machines :

1. Recent elections in US many software programmers have claimed that EVMs are vulnerable to malicious programming and if affected then any hacker can hack machine and can tamper vote counts.

2. Some physically challenged people have complained that touch base screen is not efficient to capture vote perfectly. Sometimes it leads to voter ending up voting for someone else.

3. Although it takes time to count votes that were captured using paper ballot though people fully trust the process as high technology are vulnerable to hackers.
