Diary entry
Tuesday, 12th December 1921
Dear diary,
Tomorrow is the day I receive my Nobel prize for Physics. I am so excited about it. all these years of hard work has paid off. My life was not so good up until now. My wife divorced me and I couldn’t even find my children. I hope they don’t hate me for this. After this I will try to look for them once again. I gave up once before but after this event I will not give up so easily.
Wednesday, 13th December 1921
Dear diary,
I don’t feel too good today. the Nobel Committee for Physics decided that none of this year’s nominations met the criteria as outlined in the will of Alfred Nobel. According to the Nobel Foundation’s statutes, the Nobel Prize can in such a case be reserved until the following year. So it means i’ll have to wait for another year before i get my prize.
Friday, 13th December 1922
Yes, today’s the day I finally get my prize. I found my son last yer and now we’re living together. He’s happy that we can finally live together. He’s also excited for me. I have no regrets about my life.
Tuesday, 18th April 1955
Today I had internal bleeding. The doctor said I won’t have much longer. I have done my best and I don’t want to prolong my life…………………..(death)
