Poverty Alleviation Schemes are schemes that the Government introduces in order to uplift the poor from poverty and below poverty line by providing basic necessities such as food which are nutritional, proper drinking water, hygienic sanitation, clothes and a roof to live under in order to attain and survive a basic standard of living.
