Following are the characteristics of local buffaloes providing good quality milk :

Body - These types of breed generally have fat body with loose skin .

Colour -Having dark body they have long tail which becomes their major identification .

Horns -They generally have short horns being infolded towards inward .

Structure -They have broad back portion with a little thin front .

Ears -Ears are small , thin and cautious .

Skin and hairs - In comparison with other buffaloes they have soft skin with a little hair over there making it greasy .

So , we can say that apart from producing good milks these local buffaloes have following body characteristics noted above .
