Answer:

A list of green algae can be Hematococcus pluvalis, Ulva intestinalis, Scenedesmus obliquus, Dead Man’s Finger Algae, etc.

Explanation:

A large group of green coloured chlorophyll containing algae, the Green Algae consists of the group Chlorophyta and Charophyta or Streptophyta. Both chlorophyll a and chlorophyll bare present in Green algae, which imparts them a "bright green colour". Some accessory pigments are also found in these algae like "beta carotene" and "xanthophylls", which imparts other colours to the algae. These pigments are generally stacked in the thylakoids of their chloroplasts.

Chloroplast are those plastids in which chl a and chl b is present e.g Chlorophyceae(green algae) and Charophyceae. The main function of chloroplast is to perform photosynthesis preparation of food products.

Explanation:

1. When chloroplast located toward the periphery of the cell it is parietal and when it is found at the centre of cell it may be axile.

2. Various shapes of chloroplast are seen in different green algae.

3. It can be parietal cup shaped e.g. Chlamydomonas.

4. The chloroplast can be entire, laminate i.e. flat lamina like or perforated in Closterium.

5. Chloroplast is rod shaped, elongated axile with ridges each with several pyrenoids.

6. In different Draparnaldia and Ulothrix the chloroplast is zonate, median in position with incised margins.

Diagrams are attached showing different shape of chloroplast
