Babur

In 1526, Babur won the Battle of Panipat against Ibrahim Lodi, the Lodi king. He captured Delhi and founded the greatest dynasty of North India -- the Mughal Empire

Humayun

Humayun was the son of babur. He is famous for his paintings. He also constructed a citadel at Delhi.

Akbar

He was the finest king in the Mughal empire. He extended the reach of the Mughal dynasty across the Indian subcontinent and consolidated the empire by centralizing its administration and incorporating non-Muslims. He introduced the spiritual leadership programme, Din-e-ilahi.

Jahangir

Jahangir is famous for his golden chain of justice, which contained 60 bells. He also built the Shalimar Bagh - A Mughal Garden.

Shah Jahan

Shah Jahan was a fond of culture and creativity. He is famous for his architectural monuments like Taj Mahal.

Aurangzeb

He was a orthodox muslim. He expanded the Mughal empire to its largest extent. Inspite of this, he lead a very simple life. He translated books and earned living and never used the money in his treasury for himself.
