• They introduced it for recruitment of indians to their office work rather than appointment of European which is cost for them. But also to insert western idea in minds of Indians.
• This lead to thinking of liberalism, socialism by indians. Later helped for idea of independence.
• Nowadays modern education means the usage of technology such as computer and internet.
• It helps for conceptual learning rather than rot learning. But has some defects too like not easily available to poor and eye strain.
