Protesters,
Agent Orange,
Tet Offensive,
escalation,
doves, Draft
Dogers, Hawk
As tensions escalated in Vietnam, the u.s.
thought it would slow down because holiday.
Yet the Tet offensive happened when north
Vietnam soldiers stuck on south Vietnam and
U.S soldiers. Then we released agent orange
which are Napalm strikes showing that we are
not defeated. This made the counterculture
angry because they are Anti-War Protesters
since they opposed war, they were also called
Doves. The opposite is called a Hawk, one
who supported the U.S. war efforts. After the
Northern Attacks, the military needed more
troops so they opened up the draft. People
called Draft Dogers tried to escape the draft

disablements and even moving to Canada or
Mexico.Fall of Saigon, Paris Peace Accords,

Vietminh
Ho Chi Minh was the Leader of the communist
party of North Vietnam, and the Vietminh. The
Ho Chi Minh Trail's purpose was to be a hot

them in the war. The Trails were located in
Mountains and Jungles linking north Vietnam
to South Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.Geneva Accords, Gulf of Tonkin
resolution
The Geneva Accords is when the French
surrendered and begged for mercy and
peace. French was involved because of
the Domino Theory where the
surrounding countries jump in to help.
French Surrendering allowed the U.S. to
intervene. Congress passes the Gulf of
Tonkin resolution allowing the U.S. to
intervene and fight in the war.Ngo Dinh Diem
Diem was the leader of
