2.     Agriculture: Due to the increasing demands for agriculture for meeting the growing needs of people, more and more forest areas have been transformed into agricultural land which has eventually led to the loss of biodiversity

3.     Pollution: This is also an important reason for the loss of habitat of plants and animals.

4.     Deforestation: Due to increasing needs for industrialization and urbanization, deforestation and emptying forests are practiced commonly which has also resulted in the loss of biodiversity

5.     Global warming: Due to the increasing temperature of  the planet with the course of time, the forest cover is getting destroyed which has also resulted in the loss of biodiversity."
