In earlier times when people did not have the basic facilities present nowadays for their entertainment, they still used to come up with ways to create something interesting.

People and especially children lacked the gadgets of this century. They found themselves playing outdoor games, like Kings, hop scotch, hide and seek, ice and water, and many more. They would play sports like cricket, basketball, volley ball, dodge ball. To strengthen their minds they played board games like chess and mahjong and much more. They indulged in art and crafts and other hobbies as well.
