Secondary sex characteristics are features that appear during puberty in humans, and at sexual maturity in other animals. These are particularly evident in the sexually dimorphic phenotypic traits that distinguish the sexes of a species, but unlike the sex organs, are not directly part of the reproductive system

Secondary sexual characters are the characters that actually determine the sex of an individual and help us to identify the sex partners and attract them .

The different sexual characters are :

Hair and beard .

Deep voice in males.

Breast in females.

These do not participate in reproduction but help to attract partners only.
