The presence of harmful and poisonous substances in the air and water is called as air or water pollution.  

The two main gasses present in the air are nitrogen and oxygen. But due to some pollutants, we can find some harmful gasses in the air such as carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides.  

We are normally using the water come from the rivers, and we can find some harmful substances in the rivers that pollute the water. Plastic is one the main cause of water and soil pollution.
