Pollution in Ganga and Yamuna is a result of water pollution, sewage and oil spills getting mixed together to eutrophicate the water body resulting in biological oxygen demand which are proving dangerous for aquatic animals.
Due to increased amount of air pollution Taj Mahal is becoming yellow in colour due to the reaction of calcium carbonate present in marble and carbon dioxide and Sulphur dioxide. This may prove fatal for the 7th wonder of the world because this reaction can you tell the whole monument.
