Make a presentation showing the different components of blood and their functions. Find out and include in your presentation information about common blood disorders like anaemia and haemophilia.

Answer: The components of blood include:
Platelets, Tissue fluid, Fibrin, RBC cells, WBC cells and others.
Explanation:
Platelets are important in blocking or healing the blood from flowing out in a wound. Tissue fluid is also known as lymphatic fluid, it carries the antibodies from lymph nodes to all parts of the body, through the lymphatic vessel.
Fibrin is converted to fibrinogen, which forms a network around the wound and prevents the leakage of blood and blocks the pathogens from entering.
RBC is a red blood cell which carries the haemoglobin where oxygen binds and gets transported to all the organs in the body. WBC cells are the defence system of our body which prevents us from deadly disease-causing germs. Anaemia is a disorder caused by iron deficiency. Sickle-cell anaemia is a genetic disorder, where the RBC shape will become like a crescent moon. This enables the cell from carrying oxygen and nutrients to the organs.
