Animals either used to take oxygen from water or air which depends on their habitat.

Respiration in Multicellular animals:

Skin: Animals like earthworm, amphibians, leeches beeathe through skin.Their skin is smooth and is moist, the skin is smooth and is supplied with rich blood vessels,they carrues oxygen to the rest of the body.

Gills: Gills are respiratory orgabs which facilate breathing in aquatic animals for eg. Fish, mussels. They also help the animals to supply oxygen dissolved in water.

Spiracles and Trachea: Insects like grasshopers, mosquitoes etc repire theough very thin air holes in their bodies called spiracles.

Trachea are branchef repiratory tubes which open ups the surface of the body. Oxygen enters the trachea thorugh the openings and reaches the internal parts.

Lungs: Lungs are organs which helps animals like birds mammals to respire. Frog repire both through lungs and skin.
