Now only Delhi Ridge is left of the mountains. It is a landlocked city. New Delhi is also located on the seismic zone-IV making it easily vulnerable to unforeseen earthquakes.

Hefty amount of money is given to the people to console their damages. Before floods people are asked to evacuate the areas. The Indian Meteorological department predicts from weather to natural disasters, giving a heads up to the people and government.
