Adolf Hitler is one of the most well-known people in history ( But not for a good reason). As the leader of Nazi Germany, he lead World War II known as the Holocaust, events that led to the deaths of at least 40,000,000 people. Hitler was the subject of many books, documentaries, and TV shows. His most amazing achievement was his uniting the great mass of the German (and Austrian) people behind him. Throughout his career his popularity was larger and deeper than the popularity of the National Socialist Party. A great majority of Germans believed in him until the very end.
