Answer:

A.The main occupation of tribals before british rule was that they collected whatever they wanted from the forest and then used it..They used the forest resources and in return respected the forest and conserved it.

B.The tribals were living happily when they were not interupted by the britishers. They collected the forest resources and then used it to live their original life..They never harmed the forest.Infact they prayed the forest spirit.Their life changed drastically after or under the british rule. Now they have to pay to graze their cattles in the forest. They were sent out of the forest and the officials claimed that the forests belonged to the government. So,the officials said that they would be given good houses to live in after the forest was taken..But,this never happened. They were left homeless and with no resources. So, some of the tribals came to the cites and began living in small houses outside the city and worked as labourers. So from living in a very healty environment they were forced to live in a very unhygenic condition and they had to work really hard to earn their living.

C.Many of these tribals started to revolt against this thing done by the government. They started to revolt against the changes that they have to face. They revolted against the conditions in which they have to live.

D.Birsa Munda played a very crucial role in this revolt. He was very poor and had to live with his father who continuously traveled as he had to search for work.As a adolesant he had heard of BIRSA.And he dreamt of a golden age in which birsa will rule.He wanted Munda raj.
