Geography has a huge role to play on Rajasthan as the people have adopted to a lifestyle that aligns with the topography and climate. Camels are not so uncommon due to the presence of Thar desert. Even the food comprises mostly of animal products and dairy items due to the shortage of water which leads to less production of crops. Barley, maize etc are popular here as they require less water. Great fighters and kings have marked their presence in this state which is evident from the forts and museums here .
