There are quite a few but I'll try and name the biggest ones.

• Deforestation. Cutting down massive amounts of trees means that less carbon dioxide can be used in respiration of these plants and so more carbon dioxide is left in the atmosphere, where it acts as a greenhouse gas.

• Burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil, etc). Burning these substances releases carbon dioxide into the air which warms the planet, adding to global warming

• Urbanization. The less green space you have, and the more dark, absorbing surfaces you have, the hotter it will be in urban areas. Not to mention you have to destroy ecosystems to build cities

• Water pollution. Waste disposal in lakes and rivers as well as nitrogen runoff from agriculture polluted the waterways destroying marine life that is essential for life in the oceans

• Land pollution. Massive landfills destroy ecosystems and land quality in those areas while animals confuse waste for food and get sick from it.

• Over exploitation of natural resources. Overhunting causes population decline of animals and in extreme cases causes the extinction of that animal, as was the case of the dodo bird. These also effect other animals in the habitat that rely on the existence of that animal for their own survival. Cutting down forests causes habitat destruction and is a major factor in the mass extinctions we see today.
