The Jallianwala Bagh massacre, also known as Amritsar massacre, took place on 13th April 1919, when acting Brigadier - genral Reginald Dyer ordered troops of the British Indian Army fire their Rifles into a crowd of unarmed Indian civilians in Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar, Punjab, killing at least 400 people including men and women. Over thousand people were injured.

2. Satyagraha, or holding on to truth, or truth force, is a particular form of nonviolent resistance or civil resistance. someone who participates Satyagraha is a satyagrahi.
