It has an enormous bedroom, a bathroom with an old fashioned sink, a very old toilet and a cosy kitchen with a stove that only works when it wants to. my cat loved it. To look at, one would never tell the hidden features of this tree house. it has a door and a new grandma clock...
Nobody knows that there is a water slide that leads to a secret room where I can talk to animals, when no one else is around. The water slide is fast, just in case I need to get down there quickly.
I also have a magical ladder that takes me up to the sky. When I feel sad I go up there to make myself feel better.
One day when I was in my tree house, I was warming up some hot chocolate when all of a sudden I heard a huge BANG coming from the second floor. I decided to go and investigate.
When I got upstairs I couldn’t believe that before me stood a giant penguin holding an umbrella! I slowly walked towards it, not knowing quite what to think. Then I noticed the penguin was carrying a baby too. As I listened closely, I could hear the sound of the baby penguin faintly crying. What I really wanted to do was to find out why the penguins were there and what they wanted. I wanted to talk to them. I bolted downstairs and grabbed a piece of left over fish and ran back up to second floor.
I needed to make it walk down the windy stairs, down the ladder that led outside, and then down the water slide to the secret room. I broke off a tiny piece of fish and put it on the floor. Very slowly the penguins took a little step. I broke off another tiny piece and another, and another until we were outside the water slide. I made sure my mum wasn’t around and then I quickly opened the lid that covered the hole. After I put a piece of fish into the waterslide the penguins jumped straight in! So I quickly jumped in too!
When we landed in the room, I got to ask the penguins why they were in my tree house. “I was looking for food for my baby.” The penguin said.
“I can get you some more food” I explained.
“Yes please,” the penguin said, “If that’s not too much trouble.”
“Ok wait there!” I said, excited to be able to help. So I raced up stairs and got the rest of the left over fish and brought it back to the funny little penguins.
“You like fish, don’t you” I asked the eager penguin.
“Thankyou, I do!” The penguin replied with a wink. “How did you know?”
“I had a funny feeling” I said winking back.
“Thanks again. Bye” said the penguin.
“Bye” I said, confused as the penguin popped open, her Mary Poppins umbrella and flew away.
