this is the structure of tooth and the four types of teeth

Incisors- The incisors cut and bite. They are chisel or wedge-shaped to shovel the food inward.

Canines- The tearing teeth or canines are on either side of the incisors. They grasp and tear the food.

Premolars- The grinding teeth or premolars are located behind the canines. They have a flat surface, suitable for crushing food.

Molars- The molars are the teeth at the back of the mouth. They are much bigger than the premolars angd have a flatter chewing surface. Their function is to chew and grind the food into smaller pieces.
