The sides are in ratio 1:2:3. Suppose the sides are 1a,2a,3a. Then the perimeter will be (1+2+3)a=6a.

According to the question,

           Therefore 6a=12cm
or, a=12/6
or, a=1

Then the sides are 2cm,4cm,6cm
Now now draw a line in notebook and cut 6cm. Then take 2cm by compass and make a circle and take 4cm and make a circle from the other end. Join the two end of the base line with the point where the two line intersect. Your triangle is ready.

aarzookhatri23: Thanks!!
aarzookhatri23: But can it be made by the line segment ratio??
