examples:  1.She dances gracefully.  (verb)

               ; 2.He is very short. (adjective)

              ; 3. The race ended too quickly.(adverb)

An adjective is a word used to describe a person , a place or a thing

for example ; They live in a beautiful house.

To turn an adjective into an adverb,  

you can either :

1.  For most adjectives , add -ly.For example ; quick⇒quickly

OR

2. For adjectives ending with -able or -ible , change -e to -y. For example regrettable⇒regrettably or terrible⇒terribly

OR

3.For adjectives ending with -y ,change -y to -ily.For example angry⇒angrily  

OR 4. For adjectives ending with -ic, change -ic to -ically .For example, ironic⇒ironically
